Welcome to Pahn-dah!

Tonight I needed to run to the bank, which is right next door to Panda Express, so that's where we ended up for dinner. Thanks to a completed survey, we got an extra entree for the price of two. Jim absolutely loves their orange chicken and has yet to find a place better than theirs. Usually he chooses eggplant and tofu in garlic sauce for the other entree and tonight was no exception, and he added a third choice of their special New Year's Firecracker chicken. He also got half chow mein and half steamed rice for the side. For whatever reason, he's not crazy about fried rice, and so I don't think we've ever even tried their stuff. Anyway, Panda Express is definitely my favorite scat Chinese chain restaurant. The food is consistent, the portions decent, and the addition of fortune cookies always makes me happy. I happen to love fortune cookies, especially ones that are mass-produced, because of the vanilla flavor that tends to be added to them. Orange flavoring is a close second. Either way, I like 'em. Plus, they have better fortunes than your average independently-owned Chinese restaurant. Oh, and we got another survey for another discount. Yay!
